SOMETIMES a technology opens up new creative possibilities for doing things. With Xtranormal.com and other animation sites comes the possibility of creating intelligent discussion and analysis that becomes a permanent digital record and, perhaps most importantly, students love to do it. 

 

This video is an example of a book review done in a very different way. A talk show host with a sultry British accent interviews a computer programmer to discuss Steven Johnson's provocative book. The format enables critical thinking and exploration of ideas, both prime skills to teach students.
